Through over fifty works by Nicola Samorì, juxtaposed with numerous masterpieces selected from the collections of the Capodimonte museum and the Milan Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, Nicola Samorì – Classical Collapse will stage an intense confrontation between art history and its reinterpretations, in a dialogue in which time ceases to be a boundary and a frame, opening cracks that constantly compromise its readability. So-called classical art and its constant metamorphosis are at the heart of this dual exhibition, which, though divided into two distinct spaces, is conceived within a unified project guided by the same underlying ideas.
