The exhibition is spread across the rooms of the Royal Apartments on the first floor of the Capodimonte museum.
In 1980 sculptors Giampaolo Bertozzi and Stefano Dal Monte Casoni began their artistic research inspired by the famous exhibition Civiltà del Settecento, held in 1980 at the Capodimonte museum.
More than forty years later they have returned to Capodimonte with the exhibition Metamorphosis. This selection of around twenty works includes loans from private collections and unpublished works created specifically for Capodimonte, in particular Rocco (2025) – a work chosen as the guiding image of the exhibition and which opens the exhibition itinerary, inserted in the evocative Pompeian Salottino.
Admission to Metamorphosis is included within the regular Capodimonte entrance ticket and can be visited until April 26 2026.
